This group will help us build our capacity to help people from our organizations, our family, friends and community members to find support and healing with our everyday struggles.

This group is inspired by the work of licensed therapist Shaulee Curtis, who has implemented wellness programs for individuals, families and educators all over the world (including Cambodia, India, Africa and Central and South America).

This will be a community of practice to explore the impact that “Counseling in the Streets” has had and to sample unique wellness approaches to discover how to bring wellness wherever we are – and to whichever community we are serving. The course, which leads to certification, offers information on core principles of this model, how to experience its practices firsthand, and how to take the next steps to deepen the skills of wellness facilitation.
